Understanding Socxly Short Link Record & Icons

Socxly has tried to make the Short Link Record intuitive and easy with simple icons associated to ‘Smart Features’ apart from standard icons for QR, Share & Copy

Socxly Smart Feature Icons


  •   Social Card – (has 3 icon states)

  •   Pixel Code – (has 2 icon states)

  •   CTA (Call to Action) Banner – (has 2 icon states)

  •   UTM Parameter (always green if associated)

  •   URI parameters (always green if associated)

  • Post / Share – (has 2 icon states)


Standard Action Icons   


  •   QR Code (Icon to Download QR code associated with the Short Link)

  •   Post / Share Icon (this and the Icon above for Post / Share have same functionality)

  •   Copy Short Link Icon (to Copy only the Short Link without any related OG or Post Text)


Bookmark

Bookmark helps classify your short links and find them faster using Feature Filter

  •  Bookmark applied to short link


Social Card    

Social Card is an important Socxly feature to make your Short Link marketable and appealing to Users on Social Media. 

Social Media channels use Open Graph as the Standard to show your Content with Image, Title & Description, although this may vary in some Social channels and the type of content.

Social Card feature of Socxly allows you to View / Edit the Title, Description & Image (Open Graph info) associated with a Short Link and make it appealing for Posting / Sharing on Social Media.

3 States of a Social Card Icon

  If Social Card is only Grey (without a Red Dot), it indicates that the original Long URL associated with the Short Link has proper OG (open graph) info of Title, Description & Image and you may use it as it is for posting / sharing.

  If Social Card is Grey with a Red Dot, it indicates that one or more OG (open graph) data is missing or wrong in the original Long URL associated with the Short Link. You can then Edit the respective OG Title, Description, or Image as you need to make it proper for sharing / posting.

  If Social Card is Green, it indicates that you have made changes to the OG and it is proper for sharing or posting on social media

2 States of Post / Share Icon

  If Post / Share Icon is Grey, it indicates that you have NOT Posted / Shared this Short Link yet to any Social Media channels or other apps

  If Post / Share Icon is Green, it indicates that you have previously Posted / Shared this Short Link to one or many Social Media channels or other apps or copied the Short Link with Post Text


Pixel Code Icon

  If Pixel Code Icon is Grey, it indicates that you have NOT associated or removed any Pixel Code with this Short Link yet

  If Pixel Code Icon is Green, it indicates that you have associated one or many Pixel Codes with this Short Link


CTA Banner Icon

  If CTA Banner Icon is Grey, it indicates that you have NOT associated any CTA Banner with this Short Link

  UTM Icon has only one State which is Green

If a UTM is associated with a Short Link, then it will appear in Green for the respective Short Link, else it will not appear 


URI Icon
